Thank the Stars it is Friday!

Watercolour, 2015

A year ago the wee seed for was planted.

I was waiting on Main Street with contract and the 2nd biggest cheque I had ever written in hand and I got stood up. Will admit I was spitting mad!

However if plan A doesn’t work, what is plan B?

So I thank plan A for standing me up, because I love my blog about the good stuff in Oliver!

This watercolour of the tree was done in the amazing watercolorist Dianne Bersea’s class. Check out her work!.

This is one of my fav poems.

Trees by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
