Watercolour, 2015
A year ago the wee seed for oliveronline.ca was planted.
I was waiting on Main Street with contract and the 2nd biggest cheque I had ever written in hand and I got stood up. Will admit I was spitting mad!
However if plan A doesn’t work, what is plan B?
OLIVERONLINE.CA
So I thank plan A for standing me up, because I love my blog about the good stuff in Oliver!
This watercolour of the tree was done in the amazing watercolorist Dianne Bersea’s class. Check out her work!. https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/dianne-bersea.html

This is one of my fav poems.
Trees by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
