On my vacation I have found lots of dusty old things, that remind me to slow down and enjoy the view.
Let’s take a ride through memory lane. This beautiful model, one of the first horse less cars would be great fun up at Area 27, top speed 5 miles an hour?
Not sure if this is a replica of a real bike or not. It is beautifully made.
Flying high in the sky. Love all this old stuff!
This photo was taken in Vernon BC. Around 1915. Love her dress.
And before digital cameras, we had this. What is it?
Racing up in time, I found this photo from the class of ’83. Any familiar faces?
It’s about time, spending it well, enjoying friends, sometime you are lucky enough to be related to them. Make it a good one . . . just for fun and the memories!
Good friends, good wine, great music! And the location . . . Gorgeous!
A full house to enjoy indie rock royalty band the Mounties.
Before all the Rocking and rolling, Sandra Oldfield President of Tinhorn Estate Winery had a little something to donate to the local schools.
A nice big cheque to keep the Oliver school kids dancing and singing and playing with crayons and paper to entertain their imaginations! Awesome!
The Boys in the band!
Our fav father daughter dancers! Dr. Grant has perfected the full off the ground daughter swing-around. Look out Dancing with the Stars! We are dancing under the stars! It was a beautiful night!

The Mounties . . . they make a girl want to get into trouble!

And that is why we have so much fun here. People work together and play together!
Must admit I had visions of wondering around Oliver in a big Hedda Hopper hat (do look her up young ones) with a square of paper popped in the ribbon that read “Gossip Columnist” but no, gossip is not a nice word!
Well! . . . I am listening, lesson thought through. Still not happy with the look of the site!
Feel free to make suggestions or if you have a story, 400 words or less please, about some one doing something you like in Oliver send the story to
My cat and time to enjoy being in the valley, that’s my good stuff.
This is so beautiful! Oliverites bring your guests down to Main St and get your photos taken in front of it. Only in Oliver!
Mural Artist Greg, was fixing his L’amour mural after some little brats defaced his work. As mural artists, Sally and I know what that feels like. Not fun and very disrespectful!
Wonder into the Firehall Brewery for a wee splash and check out more of Greg’s work. Art and music here and an angel keeping an eye on things!
How cute is this? More than just a cement block!
Miss Logan, resident artist at Grapevine Optical has done a spectacular job of “Lady in Glasses”.
Mom, Natasha, who all us blind people trust to make sure we can see that we have on matching socks, read the menu and we can watch the people go by down on Main St.
Love the new technology on this great vintage stand!
Big fashion dilemma! Do I up grade to the top glasses or stay with my old ones?
