On the last Sunday in May, Dog Walks are held all over Canada to raise funds for this very worthwhile program. This coming year, Sunday May 27 2018 the Oliver Lions/Lioness plan to make a bigger impact in our community and extend the Dog Walk, and have different functions and activities, in Lions Park. A fun event that we have named Woof-Stock. We plan to have food & fun, raise money and awareness for Dog Guides.
To do this, we need you! We invite other service club members and community members to join us in planning Woof-Stock.
Our second planning meeting is January 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. (1830) in the basement of the Lutheran Church, 6431 Okanagan St Oliver.
Please join us, and we can work together to help those individuals of all ages who will benefit from a Dog Guide.
