Grandmothers for Africa “support grassroots assistance to African grandmothers facing the challenges of the AIDS pandemic on their families and communities. African Grandmothers, pressed by necessity, are taking multiple orphans into their homes, without any idea of how they will be able to feed so many mouths or heal so many broken hearts.

WOW what a turnout for the 25th annual WOW Show.

WOW stands for Women of Oliver for Women and yesterday they hosted their 25th annual Trade Show – I took a look around and kept saying WOW!

 The Friendship force – Sydney, Mavis and Anna. They travel around and make friends all over the world – simple as that!

They also sponsors some amazing kids things. Mavis has been responsible for Oliver kids to have artwork in the Olympic Kids art show and other world Kid art events with the theme of friendship.

A girl and her pooch has got to shop! Julia and Casinada, Spanish for almost nothing, weighing in at 2.5 pound is a super shopper. She loves people and is the perfect accessory for an afternoon at WOW!

Dawn is a talented artist and will be feature Artist at the Gallery March 1st-31st with her opening on Thursday March 1st.

A fabulous time was had at the 25th WOW Show. Lots of Women there helping other Women. And that is what we do here in Oliver.
