The Okanagan Regional Library Maker Crew is taking its MakerBot 3D printer on the road.
This exciting 3D printer program is for anyone interested in 3D printing, from artists to 3D modellers to Makers. This program is intended for beginners but all levels of knowledge and experience are welcome.
During the program the Maker Crew will demonstrate how the 3D printer works, and its possibilities. The program is packed with hands on activities, demonstrations and discussion.
Come prepared to walk away inspired.
The entrance was full as Oliver’s Coast Hotel had its official ribbon cutting.
Lots of scissors and labour went into cutting this big ribbon.
Ron Mundi, Prez of Mundi Hotels smiled as he told us about the 93% occupancy!

Councillor Larry took the opportunity to have a chat with Jim Wyse from the Burrowing Owl.

Christina, his daughter, on the right made it happen, behind her Mom Claire, Boxers wife. On the left, Boxer, who has always been a legend in the back of my mind and here he is right in front of me! I like this photo the best! It was a real feel good moment!
We walked over to the mural on Main and we all posed in front of the it, just little bragging going on!
We had fun looking at photos and charts of our ancestors. And I do feel there was a bond and it felt great. I have to thank Christina for her 36? years of looking for Stephane!

The Sagebrushers are spending the week at the Quail’s Nest painting up a storm. Friday Night is Paint Night, come on down to the Quail’s Nest on Airport Rd. and have some fun!
