Diane Carter from Desert Eagle Fine Art has been very busy curating her latest show at Tinhorn Creek Winery. . . “and NOW for something completely different“.

Featuring wildlife photographer Lyle Smuin, Wendy Wells-Bailey artist extraordinaire and me, Leza Macdonald.

Lyle Smuin first picked up his camera when he was 18. In 2014 he heard about the California organization of Wildlife Photographers “Photo Ark” . . as in Noah. The projects main goal was to document animals in trouble of extinction while they are still here. Hopefully helping with their conservation.

Lyle has been documenting the local big horn sheep, goats, birds, bears and all in the Southern Okanagan to bring extinction awareness and conservation to mind.
