Life meets Tallgrass head on when he mixes with those not part of his neighborhood. Like most of us in real life, school tried to beat him down. It is interesting to see the options that Tallgrass has when dealing with his antagonists, but he had the support of the adults in his life. That made a huge difference in his quality of life! It is almost like the main characters are on the cusp of new social norms. Where will this journey take us next? I can hardly wait!
