“Last week Sage experimented with the artifact and had her first encounter with a day flier.  In this chapter she stays close to the village, not knowing what to do.  Finally she says good-bye to her friend Tallgrass, then has a run-in with a night stalker.

    Great to see some active conflict and tense moments. Now that Sage has an idea what to do with her future, the journey is something to keep us on the edge.
